Kristen is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner since 2019 and is certified through the AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners) specializing in Family medicine. Kristen is currently licensed with CRNS and BCCNM. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that promotes both physical and mental well-being. After earning a Master of Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan Kristen has worked in various healthcare settings, specializing in family medicine and palliative care. Kristen also completed a fellowship in palliative care in BC and practiced there for 5 years.
In her practice, Kristen emphasizes a holistic approach to healthcare, tailoring treatment plans that address the individual needs of each patient. With a deep understanding of the importance of building trust and fostering open communication, Kristen works collaboratively with patients and their families to create personalized care plans that lead to positive, lasting health outcomes.
Alongside clinical expertise, Kristen is committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in medical practices. Whether performing routine check-ups, diagnosing conditions, or managing chronic illnesses, Kristen strives to empower patients through education, so they feel informed and confident in their healthcare decisions.
Kristen recently moved back to Saskatchewan with her family after living in BC for 6 years. She is excited to start engaging with patients in her community. When Kristen isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys chasing her two boys, camping, hiking, and traveling.
